I have known this young man since he was just a wee boy, after working with his awesome mom for many years. He is no longer that little boy I once knew, now a mature young adult looking forward to some big adventures. For the last year or so, he has been a member of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, enjoying all of the activities and rituals that go along with membership. Next year, as a member of this group, he is hoping to travel to Europe to attend ceremonies and events that commemorate 70 years since the end of WWII. An amazing opportunity and an incredible adventure.
He is going to be raising funds to cover some of his travel costs and his mom asked me to capture some images of him in his uniform to help with his campaign. We grabbed a few minutes in the shade one sunny afternoon to get the job done and I think we were very successful. I mean, who could resist that smile and that uniform!
