Every year, around my girls' birthdays, I take each one out for her very own portrait session. We pick the outfits together, choose the locations and set a date. Brielle decided on two different locations for her shoot, both of which show a part of her personality. The first part was set in the woods behind and around my parents' property, which backs onto Crown Land and the Grand River delta. The sun was shining all morning, but wouldn't you know it, it was playing peekaboo with the clouds when we finally got ready to shoot!
Brielle is such a lover of the outdoors, a camper, a hiker and an explorer. She loves being outside in the fresh air, discovering new things and learning about nature. She chose to have this part of the shoot in the forest because "I love nature, Mommy!". Adorable!
